Luke began his career at the Miloco group of studios (UK) as a sound engineer, programmer, mixer and ultimately a producer working with the likes of Goldfrapp, The Cure, Coldcutt, Roots Manuva and UNKLE.
Luke has also released 4 commercial albums to date as the artist “Spacer” to much critical acclaim. He was co-composer for a ground breaking orchestral/electronic live performance group called The Orchestra who entertained audiences around Europe from The Royal Festival Hall to the North Sea Jazz festival from 2000 – 2004.
Over the last 10 years, Luke has composed music for numerous television series, titles and documentaries including the Natural World series (BBC), Dispatches (UK Channel 4), Freaky Eaters (BBC/ABC) and The Naked Chef (BBC).
For film Luke has worked with Mike Figgis for a special 50th London Film Festival event, co-composed the feature film “3000 Miles” and television drama “Kali“ for Canal+.
His passion for music for media has lead to an ongoing ground-breaking technology project that allows interactive control of music in an editor’s timeline.
Luke is currently living in Sydney and has become involved in the local media sector. He teaches composition and music production at both the Australian Institute of Music and the Sydney Conservatorium.
